Kitten Kabal: ::Kitten had escaped the clutches of Thirst and the Lair. All be it barely and pretending to be drunk. No one could pretend better betterthen her. It helped Maddies little stunt tearing the Djinns gem away from Kitten. Though she still had not fully recovered days later and part of her feared she might never recover it all worked out in their favor. Kenya's plan was a raving success. Everyone thought her depressed and upset
over not getting her bachlorette party. Kitten had not held it against Callista for forgetting, or spacing it off. The woman had alot on her plate. Now as Kitten was waiting outside the large chapel at the top floor of the Luxor in Las Vegas, she was pacing back in forth in that 2 million dollar wedding dress, eteched with diamonds, and some like around her waist were cut in the shapes of roses. She waited for the sign from inside she was
to enter. Holding the dozen white roses in her hand that was her
boquet.:: -d-
Kenya Kabal: Kenya slid the jacket over bare shoulders and turned on heel to grin into the mirror in the small chamber. Thus far, everything was going asplanned. It'd be thier collective asses later if Raven could figure out exactly who all had been in on the scheme. The usual suspects would be a good start since Kenya had a thing about girl power and let's face it, her brother would be at the top of Raven's list to interrogate. Her phone went off as the last arrangements were done. Thank you, Geekness! Sliding the phone into her back pocket, she slid her gaze to the one thing she hadn't anticipated. Snarf. The
bear was sitting on the vanity playing with his little shoes. The damn thing had appeared out of nowhere and stuck to her like glue. Well, not like she had time to set fire to him and send him on a wild goose chase. Hence, it was to Build a Bear shop at the last minute to dress the thing appropriately before Kitten lost
her mind. As yet, Kitten wasn't even aware Snarf had been
shoved into her luggage. Heh. Suprise! Picking up the bear she left the chamber. A once over the room to make sure all bases were covered. The email sent from her laptop, to Tejar that there was some scroll she needed to steal for the temple. A scroll sent to Raven, that Tejar needed files on Maximus as their attempt had not been forgotten. That should keep them busy for a bit. Lip
curl as she closed the door. Following the hostess to her designated spot, she set Snarf on the stand beside her. Best..Bear?! Go figure. -d-
Kitten Kabal: ::Kitten was pacing back and forth. Nerves?! Of course what expectant bride isnt nervous. Not to mention hiding her dress entirely from Kenya was not easy. Still as the Hostess came to tell Kitten it was time and the wedding march began to play Kitten took one final last breath, and stepped through the door being held open for them. Neither had witness's with them, as far as Kitten knew. But as she entered and noticed that sneaky, snarky little bear Kitten blinked at Kenya stunned for a
moment. But shook it off as the light from the chapel made the dress glimmer, and the air around her popped with light. The fact that the priest at the front seemed utterly shocked at it, left Kitten wondering as she reached her bride to be... what she thought? Kittens hands offered as the hostess took her wedding boquet.:: -d-
Kenya Kabal: Lip curl. Ask no questions and she would tell you no lies. A smile flashed as Snarf tilted his head and stared at Kitten's dress. Kenya bit back the chuckle as she was sure they were sharing the same thought. Sorta. Just wait until that dress came off. It'd be a fight had the hatchlings been here. The wedding march through Kenya a moment as she'd only heard it in
movies. They really played that at weddings? Who knew? As Kitten was releaved of her flowers she extended her hand to Kitten and turned her face to the officiant. A slow exhale. It was now or never. -d-
Kitten Kabal: ::Kitten smiled happily turning to the man who got himself together long enough to begin. He went through a long drawn out speech of love being ever lasting. How when one finds true love it a bonding between soul mates. And how its not just in this world but the next. Kitten popping off with smartly.:: If only you knew... ::THe man dumbfounded for a moment continued. Looking to Kenya.:: "Take her left hand in yours, and speak your vows." -d-
Kenya Kabal: Why did she have to go first? This was what she found so silly about the entire thing. Ah well. Words were merely words in her world. Snarf tugged on his tuxuedo again. Odd to dress him like that. Kenya eyed Kitten again. It was her day. What could it hurt? Dark eyes skimmed over her lovely bride. They were already married, what moer was there to be said. The Street Rat remained silent. If she took to long, Kitten would hit nuclear meltdown. Truth be told that could be rather hysterical to watch and serve her uptight wife a good reality check. Lip curl. Factor in the headache that could follow..Kenya weighed her options. Cut her some slack or let her sweat it out and see if Kitten's mascara would run. Another reason for the woman to go ballistic. The soft chuckle emitted from her. The Rat marries a raccon instead of the Kitty-Kat. A subtle shake of her head. Thank the Great Eye she wasn't officiating this. The memories of Kitten's arrival in the temple. True, Kenya barely recalled
the woman ever being in the House. Yet, at the time Kenya hadn't spent much time there when Kitten had first arrived in the House. Other things to do, worlds to explore. Hell to raise. Did marriage mean and end to that? For a moment, Kenya thought about snagging the bear and making a run for it. Tilting her head to the side, Kenya remembered Kitten from her return til now.
Kenya Kabal: 'Time holds no bounds on who we are. Today, marks merely another moment we share together in this life.' A bit ironic considering Kitten would never die. 'A life we will create together. One filled with joy and laughter, no matter where our fortunes take us.' -d-
Kitten Kabal: ::Her hand taken by her beloved Huntress, Kitten met her eyes and watched as she stood silently. There was no accusation or fear as she took her time. More like... patient understanding. Giving her the time she needed to work through herself. Kitten listened as she finally began, smiling softly. Once the ring was slipped on her finger, she produced Kenyas
wedding band. A simple diamond matching the one she got kitten, surrounded one ach side by a pair of "Cats Eye" gems. Speaking softly in response.:: My Beloved Kenya, from our first meeting that night you stumbled upon me bathing in the Oasis, my eyes have been only for you. You stopped time with your beauty, my heart with your voice, and my search for belonging with your love. With you I learned to be more then what Fate had
decided for me. You have changed my life irreparably. I would rather die, then go back to the woman I was before you came into my life. You gave me hope, when I was scared to hope. You turned the nightmare landscape of my dreams into sweet ones full of your presence. You calmed my spirit when I thought nothing in this world could. I love you with all I am, and I swear to
you before our family, and friends, I will devote my entire life from here on out to your happiness. Be it in good times of plenty, or bad times of scarce. Be we rich or poor. Be we sick or health and flush with life. I swear myself unto you alone Kenya Kabal, from this day forth, until I am dust in the wind. In this life, and our next we will be of two hearts with one beat. ::Slipping the ring on her finger. The man spoke softly after a moment.:: "By the powers invested in me by the state of NEvada, and the United States of America, I here by pronounce you wife, and wife. You may kiss your bride." ::Speaking the last part to Kenya.:: =d=
Kenya Kabal: Kenya tilted her head to the side as she eyed the officiant. Just a kiss? Really? Temple weddings were a so much better. Shrug of shoulders as the Street Rat shoved her inner Priestness aside and leant towards Kitten. A murmur to her wife. 'A kiss huh?' A brush of lips over hers. Snarf scratched his head. 'wha is that? him says kiss her!' Kenya grinned against
Kitten's lips and pulled the woman closer as tongue thrust past lips to kiss Kitten harder. The soft clapping of the hostess went unnoticed as Kenya kissed Kitten. A clearing of throat from the officiant was ignored as well. Snarf rocked back and forth on his heels grinning. Rather pleased with himself. He did look good in his tuxedo.-d-
Kitten Kabal: ::Kitten heard him speak of a kiss and knew Kenya would be disappointed, as she leaned in close Kitten nodded her head whispering.:: They are rather stiff like here, wait till we get to the room... ::Was all she would get to say before one brief kiss became a harder, deeper one. The kiss returned, as her tongue sought to dance with its mate, caressing. Kittens cheeks becoming flush as she became quite aroused by the hard passion
Kenya was showing her in this moment. As the kiss faded, the
officiant began to motion to the paper requiring their signatures. Kitten jotted hers down, and as soon as Kenya wrote hers he spoke.:: "May I be the first to welcome you Mrs Kenya & Kitten Kabal?" ::Kitten snatched up the paper laughing as she followed Kenya and Snarf out.:: A bit late their Padre, still you were great! ::Waving at them as they rushed to get back to their room.:: -d-
Kenya Kabal: Kenya smiled at the officiant. 'Thank you again.' Sliding her hand into Kitten's as Snarf scrambled up to her back and latched onto her. 'to the honies and moons.' He cried. Kenya wasn't going to bother trying to explain the living teddy bear that slapped a paw print on the witness line. Just notarize it and be done. Wasn't like the laws here held wait for her or Kitten. As Kitten gathered bunches of fabric, the trio took off running for
thier room. An echo of laughter trailing behind them. 'You know Calli's gonna spit nails right?' Kenya teased. -d-
Kitten Kabal: ::Kitten laughed and nodded.:: Perhaps, but even she would understand the need for this surely? ::Once they reached the room and the door shut... well that was a story for another day.:: -d-
