Illusional Devil: ::Madison was in the war room looking over a map that was stretched out over a large wooden table. Her knees were on a chair and she was leaning over the table moving some markers about. No not the ones you colored with but the
Illusional Devil: ones that represented units of people or units of weaponry. The pirate tapped at her chin gently, pirate cap tugged back some to now shade the map. She wore a pair of brown trousers and a tan peasant style shirt with wide cuffs at
Illusional Devil: the wrists.::-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::It was Maddie after all, not some whorish waif or wayward octaroon that demanded it's more stern attentions. With an unceremonious crumble of limbs the doll simply fell out of the ceiling and into a pile of whatever treasures she
ClockworkDevil: had stashed in the room, big as ever and polished to a high shine, its featureless black head tilted off to one side, lenses centered on her though...but for the moment, it chose to just sit and watch, limbs splayed here and there
ClockworkDevil: with no real movement:: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::Now nothing really surprised the pirate in the house so when the crashed echoed off the walls it would startle her some, but not surprise her really. Madison had spoken of the Puppet just this past week when someone had mentioned
Illusional Devil: a puppet and the youth thought they were referring to him. She had been so excited only to be let down that her partner in mass destruction, death, and fear had not been found. So when she saw him the pirate was nearly brought to
Illusional Devil: tears. Running over to him she would grab his torso with her arms and squeeze him tightly, small cheek resting to his chest. She hoisted him up to his feet, or tried to anyways and grinned impishly seeing his hat.::I've missed you
Illusional Devil: Puppet! More than you can imagine. I know...imagine right? Funny.::Snickers some.::-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::head remained lopsided on shoulder as the little thing squealed into its chest, gears grinding and creaking as it's arm rose to delicately stroke her hair and head swirled up to rigid stance on shoulders. Other hand swung up to
ClockworkDevil: hold little pirate waif about the middle, replicating the implacably joyous hug the little scallywag bestowed upon it's clockwork frame. At her insistance, gears and pulleys inside legs set to motion and allowed her to 'struggle' it
ClockworkDevil: it's booted feet, helping her just beyond the edge of failure til it was standing tall again. Coat falling about the back of it's legs, crisp in uniform as ever.:: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::Once he was up upon his feet Madison set about inspecting him because he had just gotten launch through the roof. She could care less about the big gaping hole in the ceiling. The pirate could not have been more delighted when
Illusional Devil: he hugged her in return. Emeralds looked over any gears that she could actually see checking to see if he needed to be oiled, repaired, or what have you. Madison had become quite good at fixing mechanical innards thanks to her
Illusional Devil: dedication to her weaponry. She reached up dusting off his shoulders and brushing his uniform off of any saw dust from obliterating the wooden rafters.::Where have you been? It has been boring here without you. Well, not totally
Illusional Devil: but I've missed my friend. We just had a big war with the Romans.::And with that said she moved over to the war table and showed him the diagram of the house with the Roman army markers::We destroyed them and sent them back,
Illusional Devil: attacking them even as they retreated. The walls and battlements that you and I oversaw the building of when last you were here survived and played a crucial role in the battle.::Taps the walls she was speaking of on the map.::-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::It seemed Madison had her own little way with the clockwork menace. One that seemed to actually cultivate an air of...humanity? from the mechanical marvel. It looked down on her passively, featureless face turning to the map as it
ClockworkDevil: clenched it's hands behind itself at the wrist, strolling over and inspecting the battle board. Head turning this way and that, relishing the stories, and then turning back to her. Gloved hands came from behind itself and slowly up
ClockworkDevil: to the sheath of medals on it's waistcoat under it's Oberfuher's greatcoat. The Iron Cross of Valor was undone and then presented to the little pirate.:: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::Madison looked over the map and tilted her head as she looked to the markers.::The Romans truly did not know who they were messing with. I had this whole wall covered with artillery that sent into their lines the moment they
Illusional Devil: stepped foot off their ship. Ships! My ships were over here...::She pushed her ships out to the Western side of her map.::Shooting volleys as...::Madison trailed off a moment when he took the Iron Cross of Valor from his chest and
Illusional Devil: gave it to her. Madison back stiffened and her posture straightened into a rather rigid stance as if going to attention. She took the medal and carefully pinned it to her chest before smiling to the Oberfuhrer giving him a salute.
Illusional Devil: ::Thank you! I only wish you could have been there to share in the death and destruction.::Madison got a far off look in her small features for the moment as she remembered.::...it was amazing Puppet.-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::As she took the cross it bowed it's head and then snapped it's heels together, going rigid as it presented her with a salute, fist thumping into it's chest and bowing slightly to her once more. Very proud of the military prowess
ClockworkDevil: the little one seemed to be accumulating. She was of the Snake and the Raven so it was no surprise. Even so, credit where credit was due, and stance once more slid into something more relaxed as it rolled it's shoulders and shrugged
ClockworkDevil: off the heavy leather great coat, sliding it around the back of a chair and tugging it's tunic coat down just a bit, straighting things here and there before it once more looked where she pointed on the board, nodding it's head
ClockworkDevil: before she spoke of wishing it were there. It simply poked her in the chest with a finger.:: (d)
Illusional Devil: I am very honored that you would bestow this medal upon me. It really means a lot. I have never gotten any medals before.::Madison glanced down to her chest small digits playing over the Iron Cross for a moment before looking to
Illusional Devil: him with a grin. When he poked her chest she would tilt her head to the side.::What? You were here just in spirit or something?::Madison smirked at that and even gave a quiet giggle. Tugging her pirate hat off she reached up and
Illusional Devil: took the dress uniform hat he wore that she loved so much off his head and rested it onto hers.::-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::It even tilted it's head to allow her an easier grasp. Straightening it upon her head so it sat proudly the puppet nodded. One could only wonder why little Madison was so enamoured with it but, then again, it wasn't the most
ClockworkDevil: normal place they inhabited. Mechanical master moved itself to the chair and settled down with the shudder of gears and pulleys, pistons hissing as it settled down into a 'comfortable' position and turned to Madison. Tapping it's
ClockworkDevil: sheath of medals on it's chest. :: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::Madison looked to the medals on his chest and grinned.::Those are new? You have been hard at work then Puppet. You know if you were here during our battle I could have given you medals too.::Madison gave a small nod looking to
Illusional Devil: the map. It was a suggestion that meant she wanted him to stay. It suggested he could earn medals here and did not have to go away for them. But Madison knew the puppet did not stay at ease for long. His path was one of
Illusional Devil: destruction, she just hoped he'd stay longer this time. Moving to him she would lean down peeking over his medals more closely.::Is everything okay inside of you? Do you need anything worked on?-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::It simply turned polished black featureless face to look at her....tilting before right arm grabbed left and there was a squeeze followed by a few crunches in the forearm. Left arm stiffly moved over to the little pirate. She had
ClockworkDevil: asked for something to fix and so it had given it to her. Simple...not exactly sane, but it was a shell it inhabited and nothing terribly important. Right arm resting on the arm rest of the chair and simply waiting for her to
ClockworkDevil: begin her 'surgery'.:: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::The tip of the little pirate's nose wirnkled when she heard the crunching sounds.::Let me get my tools.::Madison was slightly fearful that if she left it the puppet might just up and disappear but she'd have to just go on faith.
Illusional Devil: The youth darted out of the room and came back soon after with a stiff leather wrap. She rolled it out onto the table, various tools in holders within the wrap. Opening the shell of his forearm she began to work on the innards,
Illusional Devil: hooking gears back together and tugging out bent metal.::Where did you get your new medals?::Foot snagged the leg of the globe tugging it over before him so he could show her. Emeralds then peeked back down to her work.::Mom will
Illusional Devil: be happy you have returned. There are plenty of......fools we could use your assistance with. One just got banished last night.-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::It had gotten them all from the Snake honestly, Inanna had given it the medals as a card, a joke, something to suit her fancy much like it's rather sinister uniform that it paraded around in. However, it understood and as she
ClockworkDevil: worked it spun the globe and pointed it's finger down on Eastern Europe. swirling about Germany, France, Poland, and Belgium. The servos in it's crushed arm seemed to be amazingly easy to replace or repair, possibly fixing
ClockworkDevil: themselves as she touched over them:: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::Madison blinked at the intricacy of his arm. She felt a bit...unneeded, but that wasn't something that bothered her. She was simply surprised it did not need hands to give it. When his arm seemed to be back together she would
Illusional Devil: close the plate fixing it back on while looking to where he pointed.::I've only ever been to France, none of those other places.::Pats his arm and leans back some.::What has brought you back here? Did the Snake as you to come back?
Illusional Devil: -d-
ClockworkDevil: ::A simple shake of it's head was all Madison got, left hand flexed and rolled on ball pinion joint as fingers tested themselves and elbow bent back and forth. Satisfactory, A pat to her head as it rose from the chair and motioned
ClockworkDevil: as if to imply it desired to see more of the House. Lenses flickered in the dim light as it cast its sight outwards, featureless face continued to hide its true intent or implication. Hands tugging tunic and making uniform crisp and
ClockworkDevil: straight once more:: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::Madison rolled back from her seat and put her tool back into its holder in the leather wrap. She then wrapped it up slipping the belt around it to keep it shut. Standing up she pushed her chair into the map table. Adjusting the
Illusional Devil: cap she wore she moved off with him towards the battlements and walls they had been building when last he was here.::Want to show you the completed works. The walls are a good twenty feet high and that will just be the first
Illusional Devil: tier.::Madison shrugged moving through the tower up the stairs in a circle before exiting to the battlements, her row of cannons stringing down the pathway once they got onto it.::The Romans did not breach this inner wall so it was
Illusional Devil: a success in that regard. There is still room for improvement....always room for improvement.::She tugged the Nazi cap down a bit further upon her head to sheild eyes from the sun.::-d-
ClockworkDevil: ::As the little one stomped ahead, the clockwork creation simply followed in lock step. Inspecting here and there before a silent call from somewhere in the house caused it's head to snap down to the right violently, lenses peering
ClockworkDevil: at something seldom seen and as Madison went on, it reached out to touch her cheek, stroking back from behind and when she'd turn it was simply gone, but the cap and medal remained. Perhaps it was going to stay around.:: (d)
Illusional Devil: ::Madison's hands were clasped behind her back much like the clockwork puppet. She walked along the battlements inspecting with him before she felt the gloved hand move to her cheek and touch it. Turning towards him the pirate
Illusional Devil: princess would blink seeing the clockwore fiend was gone. Hand reached up but his Officer's cap remained on her head. Lips twisted in a bit of frustration wondering who had called him off. Back into the house she went.::-d-
